Getting Started
How do I create an account?
1. Download Lifestonia from the App Store
2. Open the app and tap “Sign Up”
3. Enter your email address and create a password or Sign in with Apple or Google
4. Verify your email address (check your inbox for verification link)
5. Complete your profile (username, avatar – optional)
Note: You must be at least 17 years old to create an account.
How do I reset my password?
1. On the login screen, tap “Forgot Password?”
2. Enter the email address associated with your account
3. Check your email for a password reset link
4. Click the link and create a new password
5. Log in with your new password

Can I use the app on multiple devices?

How do I delete my account?

How often are new stories released?
Release Schedule:
- Main story updates: Every other Tuesday (side stories may become main stories)
- Side stories: Occasionally between main updates
- Special releases: Announced via push notifications

How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple, not within the app.
To cancel:
1. Open iPhone Settings
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap “Subscriptions”
4. Select Lifestonia
5. Tap “Cancel Subscription”
6. Confirm cancellation
Important:
- You keep access until the end of your billing period
- No refunds for unused time
- You can resubscribe anytime
Do I get a refund if I cancel?
- Within 48 hours of initial purchase if no content has been accessed
- Where required by law
- At our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances

Can I switch between subscription types?
- New subscription starts immediately

Will my subscription auto-renew?
- You’ll be charged 24 hours before the renewal date
- Charged at the current subscription price (prices may change)
- Renewal email sent to confirm
Can I gift a Premium subscription?

How do I access the music library?
Free Users:
- Access to 5-8 preview tracks
- Can listen to featured music

Can I download music for offline listening?

Yes! Music continues playing when:
- You switch to another app
- You lock your screen

What are the 87 housing projects?
- House approximately 850,000 residents
- Controlled by various gangs (territorial conflicts)
- Central to Cell’s story and many characters’ backgrounds
- Each project has unique history and reputation
- Many of Lifestonia’s best professional athletes hail from one of the DH projects

COLLECTIBLES & SHOP
What are digital collectibles?
Digital collectibles are limited-edition virtual items including:
- Character tokens
- Event commemorations
- Exclusive artwork
- Participation badges
What they do:
- Display on your profile
- Unlock bonus content (stories, behind-the-scenes)
- Show your status in the community
- Can be traded in marketplace (coming soon)
Important: Collectibles are licensed, not sold. You don’t own the underlying intellectual
property.

What’s your return policy?
- Item is defective or damaged

Digital Products:
All digital sales (collectibles, e-books, music) are final and non-refundable.
When will limited edition items restock?

What payment methods do you accept?

How do I change my payment method?
Payment methods are managed through Apple, not within the app.
To update payment:
1. Open iPhone Settings
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap “Payment & Shipping”
4. Update credit card or add new payment method
Changes apply to all future App Store purchases, including Lifestonia subscriptions.
Why did my subscription renew?
2. Tap your name
3. Tap “Subscriptions”
4. Select Lifestonia
5. Tap “Cancel Subscription”
Note: Cancelling after renewal doesn’t refund that charge, but prevents future renewals.
How do I get a receipt?
1. Check your email inbox for “Receipt from Apple”

My payment was declined. What do I do?
- Insufficient funds
- Expired credit card
- Billing address mismatch
- Bank fraud protection
To resolve:
- Verify payment method is valid and has sufficient funds
- Update payment method in Apple Settings
- Contact your bank if fraud protection triggered
- Try a different payment method
If issues persist, contact Apple Support for payment troubleshooting.

TECHNICAL ISSUES
App crashes when I open it.
- Swipe up from bottom (iPhone X+) or double-click Home button
- Swipe Lifestonia app up to close
- Reopen app
- Power off iPhone completely
- Wait 30 seconds
- Power back on
- 3. Check for app updates:
- Open App Store
- Tap your profile icon (top right)
- Scroll to Lifestonia
- Tap“Update”if available
4. Check for iOS updates:
- Settings → General → Software Update
- Install if update available
- Delete Lifestonia app
- Restart device
- Reinstall from App Store
- Log back in
Still crashing? Email contact@lifestonia.com with:
- “Bugs” in the subject line

- When crash occurs (on launch, during specific action, etc.)
Stories or music won’t load.
2. Try loading a website in Safari to confirm internet works
3. Toggle Airplane Mode on/off
- Switch from Wi-Fi to cellular (or vice versa)
- Try a different Wi-Fi network
Clear app cache:
1. Go to Settings → Lifestonia
2. Tap “Clear Cache”
3. Reopen app
Reinstall app as a last resort (see “App crashes” above).
Video player not working.
Solutions:
1. Ensure iOS is updated to latest version
2. Close other apps running in background
3. Restart the app
4. Try playing video on Wi-Fi instead of cellular
5. Check device storage (low storage can cause playback issues)
Fullscreen mode issues:
- Double-tap video to enter/exit fullscreen
- Use fullscreen button (top right of player)
- Swipe down to exit fullscreen
Can’t log in / Login issues.

- Ensure password is correct (case-sensitive)
- Reset password if unsure
Your account may be temporarily locked due to multiple failed login attempts or Terms
of Service violations
App is slow or laggy.
Restart device: Power off and back on
Free up storage:
- Settings → General → iPhone Storage
- Delete unused apps/photos
- Aim for at least 1GB free space
Update iOS: Settings → General → Software Update
Update app: Check App Store for Lifestonia updates
Reduce motion: Settings → Accessibility → Motion → Reduce Motion (ON)
Battery draining quickly.
Close app when not in use: Don’t leave it running in background unnecessarily
Reduce screen brightness: Especially when reading stories
Disable background app refresh:
- Settings → General → Background App Refresh
- Turn off for Lifestonia (or all apps)
Note: Video and music playback naturally consume more battery than reading text.
Lost my progress or bookmarks.
To restore:
Ensure you’re logged into the correct account
Check internet connection
Force close and reopen app
Go to Settings → Tap “Sync Account”
Email support@lifestonia.com with:
- Account email
- What progress was lost
- When you last saw the progress
We may be able to restore from backups.
Push notifications not working,
1. Open iPhone Settings
2. Scroll to Lifestonia
3. Tap Notifications
4. Toggle “Allow Notifications” ON
5. Choose notification style (Banners, Sounds, Badges)

ACCOUNT & PRIVACY
Is my data safe?
What we do:
- Use secure authentication systems
- Never sell your personal information
- Comply with privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
What we collect:
- Account info (email, username)
- Usage data (stories read, features used)
- Device info (model, OS version)
- Payment info (processed by Apple/third parties, not stored by us)

Can I change my username?
To change username:

- Must be unique (not taken by another user)
- 3-20 characters
- Letters, numbers, underscores only
- No offensive or inappropriate names
How do I change my email address?
To update email:
1. Go to Profile → Settings
2. Tap “Account”
3. Tap “Email Address”
4. Enter new email
5. Verify new email (check inbox for confirmation link)
Important: Use your new email for future logins.
Can I make my profile private?
- Username
- Avatar
- Badges and collectibles (if you choose to display)
- Forum posts and activity
What’s private:
- Email address
- Payment information
- Reading history
- Private messages (when feature launches)
Privacy settings coming: Future updates will allow more control over profile visibility.
How do I block another user?
2. Tap the menu icon (three dots)
3. Tap “Block User”
4. Confirm
- You won’t see their posts or messages
- They can’t send you direct messages
- They won’t see your forum posts (you’re hidden from them)
To unblock: Go to Settings → Blocked Users → Tap “Unblock”
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
- Account and personal info permanently deleted within 7-30 days
- Forum posts may remain but will show “[Deleted User]” as author
- Purchase history retained for legal/tax purposes (not linked to your identity)
- Some data retained in anonymized form for analytics
What you lose:
- Access to premium subscription (no refunds)
- All purchased collectibles
- Reading progress and bookmarks
- Profile, badges, and reputation
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

COMMUNITY & SAFETY (COMING SOON)
How do I access the forum?
- Premium All-Access subscription, OR
- Community Pass token, OR
- High engagement status (earned through app activity)
Forum launch: Expected in 3–6 months. Premium subscribers will be notified first.
What are the community guidelines?
- Respect for all users
- No harassment, hate speech, or bullying
- No spam or self-promotion
- Stay on topic in forum sections
- No illegal content
- Constructive criticism only
Violations result in: Warnings → Temporary bans → Permanent bans
How do I report inappropriate content?
To report forum posts or users:
1. Tap the menu icon (three dots) on the post/profile
2. Tap “Report”
3. Select reason (harassment, spam, hate speech, etc.)
4. Provide details (optional)
5. Submit report
